Stef turned 40! Yesterday!

We knew (*), and Radio 1’s Exit team did too.
Last night they called Tom Pintens, Tom Barman, Piet Goddaer (Ozark Henry)… and Stef.

Tom P told his oldest memory of Stef was seeing him busking at the Antwerp Meir (in A Beatband-times), later they got to know each other at De Muziekdoos.

Tom B wished for Stef he’d turn 40 in an elegant way, make a beautiful african record, … and loud music (ha!). Tom also told Stef Kamil was recently invited at a party at his place and called him to make sure there wouldn’t be any loud music, and the party wouldn’t be too wild.

Piet and Stef still had to get in touch about the radio session, so Piet was asked what he expected from Stef. Piet thinks Stef has to play some skc/zs songs… and Stef was thinking about some covers too.

Other things we learned:

  • the band has already 11 songs for the ‘Wait for me’-project
  • the african musicians won’t be there at the Radio 1 sessie
  • there won’t be any loud music for a while (no electrics next tour)

Enjoy being 40 Stef!

* because it’s always the day after Christa’s birthday 🙂
