Rabbitfield.com, a zita swoon fansite

Not much news last months. Zita swoon finished a tour with Miossec in France. Last show was 6 december in Lille. I never heard of them/him. I’ll have to check it out.

So what news for 2007 ? Well BIG exciting NEWS people !
Zita Swoon is recording a new album and that should be finished somewhere in January 2007 and be released in March… A lot of new shows will be announced soon.

Stef Kamil wrote a while a go some Dutch songs for the O Death production, which never happend due of the illness of Jan De Corte. Stef performed these once with Obatala (Kobe Proesmans band). The good news is that these songs will also appear on cd somewhere in 2007. It still needs to be recorded.

As you could read some time ago, the Flemish government stopped the financial support of Zita Swoon. Some days later (31=08-06) the minister (Bertje Teardrop Anciaux) gave an interview; quote:
Maar verder zou ik mijn favoriete genre als Pukkelpopmuziek willen omschrijven. Ik ben ook geweest dit jaar, samen met Steve Stevaert. In ben zelfs bij hem blijven logeren. Zita Swoon was geweldig. Daar ben ik echt een fan van. En Placebo vond ik ook heel goed. Maar eerlijk gezegd: ik ga niet meer zo vaak naar concerten als vroeger. Hoe ouder ik word, hoe verlegener ik ben.”
