On february 17th (zs.com says the 20th?) Zita Swoon Group will release Wait for Me. A new album featuring songs from the Wait For Me project with Awa Deme and Mamadou Diabate Kibié. Previews can be found on Soundcloud and NewBorderz.nl published a review already.

Hi there, just a little reminder. Tomorrow (February 10th) Stef will do a solo gig at De Rekkelinge, Deinze. Nieuwsblad.be published some info about it (here)
On March 12th The Scene will release their new album Code (their 15th!) and Stef is one of the guests on it. The news came as no real surprise because Stef and the Scene frequently worked together over the past few years (Radio 1 Sessie, Nekka Nacht). Stef will feature on the track Mooi (Nice). We’ve found a version on youtube but sadly without Stef.

De setting van de Stadsschouwburg drukt meteen een stempel op de avond. De nabijheid van de band, het aanraakgehalte, doet denken aan een huiskamerconcert. Op het moment dat de bandleden het podium oplopen is er ook geen gejoel of enthousiaste kreten: pas op het moment dat ze zich situeren achter hun instrumenten klinkt er wat voorzichtig applaus.

Frontman Stef Kamil Carlens ging naar het West-Afrikaanse Burkina Faso en kwam terug met een zangeres en een balofonist. Een fantastische samenwerking is geboren! Zita Swoon Group, samen met zangeres Awa Demé en xylofonist Mamadou Diabaté Kibié, brengen thematieken uit de moderne Afrikaanse samenleving. Een traditioneel Afrikaans geluid in een altijd fijne Zita Swoon-schwung.
